Pear, Cranberry, Wild Orange, Hazelnut and essential oils are the perfect flavoring for muffins and baking.
You could add blueberries, mango, banana or apple instead of pear. But this one is added with chopped up ripened pear, a scattering of blitzed hazelnuts and a few cranberries to each muffin before baking. Too easy!
BASIC MUFFIN RECIPE
- 2 cups self-raising flour
1/4-1/2 cup sugar ( or use 1/4 cup for a low sugar recipe)
- 1 egg beaten
1/4 cup oil (used liquid coconut oil)
- 1 cup milk ( used unsweetened almond milk)
- 3 drops of orange extract
Place all ingredients in a bowl, Mix until just combined and Bake at 180°C for approximately 20 minutes.
