The creation of Dal Makhani is credited to Kundan Lal Gujral, the same culinary pioneer who brought us Butter Chicken. In the mid-20th century, Gujral sought to innovate within the realm of vegetarian cuisine, leading to the birth of this rich, velvety lentil dish. Our version is made Bukhara style with whole black lentils (black gram), slow-cooked to perfection with butter (makhan), cream , and a melange of traditional Indian spices, richer than the usual Dal Makhani.

You can return an item for a refund, within 30 days of receiving your original order.
Products must be unused and in their original condition and sent back to Healthier Tastier Foods at the expense of the customer. Please include a copy of your receipt.

We’re not able to offer an exchange on returned items. We will refund the price you paid for your item, back to the original account used.
The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so make sure your return is packed properly and can’t get damaged in transit. We recommend using registered post so that you can keep track of your parcel.
No return for change of mind is available on special request orders or when stock has been specifically obtained to meet your order.
