Ingredients
-
325g Coco Earth Oat Flour
-
4 tbsp cup cacao powder
-
100ml milk of your choice
-
Pinch of salt
-
1 tsp cinnamon
-
4 Dates, chopped
-
1 tbsp baking powder
-
2 tsp maple syrup
-
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method
-
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
-
Mix CocoEarth oat flour, cacao powder, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
-
Stir the chopped dates into the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated to prevent sticking.
-
Mix together the CocoEarth liquid coconut oil, milk, vanilla essence, and maple syrup in a separate bowl.
-
Mix both wet and dry ingredients and gently fold together until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
-
Portion the dough into wedges and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking tray (use a ½ cup measuring cup)
-
Bake for 20 minutes. Avoid overbaking, as the scones are best when they remain slightly soft in the center.
